Linkdom is a free social bookmarking website for fans.

It enables you to save the URLs of fandom related websites that your find interesting and assign them keyword tags to make finding them again easy; it also allows you to specify what type of website it is so that if you are searching for a photo gallery for a specific fandom you will be able to filter down the links so that you only get the required type of websites.

As Linkdom is online it means you can access your favourite bookmarks from any computer anywhere! This also means that you'll be able to see the websites that other fans have found interesting enough to bookmark, and it allows you to have conversations with them through the use of the comments pages.

Through the creation of profiles you will be able to find other users who are interested in the same fandoms and add them to your network so that you can easily see the links they've been bookmarking on your network page. The profile page also has your contact details available to the users on your network so that other fans can get in touch with you to talk about your shared interests!

Because Linkdom respects your privacy we allow you to decide the users that you feel comfortable seeing your contact details, and provide you with the ability to change your mind as you change and/or meet now people.

Linkdom was created in 2007 by Marie Szczepanski as part of her final year on the Multimedia Design course at the University of Huddersfield.
